Deleting Your Account In-App
You can permanently delete your OpenMic account and associated data directly from the app at any time:
- Open the OpenMic app and go to your Profile.
- Tap the Settings (gear) icon.
- Select Account, then Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Requesting Deletion by Email
If you are unable to access the app, you can request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing us. We will verify your identity and process your request.

Please send your request from the email address associated with your account and include your username so we can locate it.
What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove your profile information, the videos and audio you uploaded, your comments, and your account credentials. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
What May Be Retained
Some information may be retained for a limited period where required by law, to resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or complete transactions you initiated (such as purchase records). Content you shared that has been saved or redistributed by other users may persist outside of your control. Any retained data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Processing Time
Account deletions made in-app take effect immediately. Email requests are typically processed within 30 days. If you have any questions about this process, contact us at daniel@openmicprod.com.
